Cabinet refacing

Cabinet and cupboard door wrapping in Melbourne

If your cabinets are sound but the doors are dated, chipped or just not you anymore, you don't need new joinery. We wrap the fronts you already have in premium architectural film, fitted on site, for a fraction of the cost of replacing them.

A wardrobe refront starts around $900 and kitchens from $2,400, scaling with the number of fronts. Fixed quote from photos.

Fitted on site across Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria.

Wrap, reface or replace?

Replacing doors means new joinery and a big bill. A respray means paint that can chip and needs a spray booth. Wrapping bonds a real textured film over your existing fronts, in place, in a day or two, in hundreds of finishes. When the boxes are sound, it's the least waste and the least cost of the three.

What we can wrap

Kitchen cupboard doors

Doors and drawer fronts lifted, wrapped and rehung the same day.

Wardrobe and robe doors

Built-in robes, sliders and linen presses, so bedrooms stay usable start to finish.

Laundry and vanity joinery

Films rated for damp rooms, wrapped over laundry and bathroom cabinetry.

Office and built-ins

Studies, entertainment units and storage walls refreshed in a new finish.

Good to know

Premium film, not cheap vinyl

The horror stories about peeling 'vinyl wrap' are about the wrong material, poorly applied. We use premium architectural film, prep every surface properly and wrap the edges so nothing lifts. Ten year warranty, cleans with warm water, and you can wrap the same doors again in a new look down the track.

Questions

Common questions

Is wrapping cheaper than new doors?
Yes, usually by a wide margin, because the existing boxes and hinges stay put. You pay to change what you see, not the whole cabinet.
Can you match a specific colour or timber?
Almost certainly. We carry hundreds of finishes across timber, stone, matte and gloss, and send sample suggestions with your quote.
How long does it take?
Most wardrobes and single rooms are a day; a full kitchen is one to two. Handles come off, film goes on, everything is rehung.
What if a door is damaged?
Water-damaged or crumbling fronts are repaired or replaced first, then wrapped, so the finish lasts.
