- Is this real solid timber or veneer?
- 100% solid hardwood, not veneer or laminate. Every piece is built from genuine boards of the species you choose, so it can be sanded back and refinished for a lifetime — something veneer can never do.
- What timbers can I choose from?
- Australian favourites like Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, Tasmanian Oak, Messmate and Victorian Ash, plus imported American Oak and Walnut, and reclaimed/recycled timber. Not sure? Tell us the look you want and we'll recommend the right species.
- How much does a custom solid timber table cost?
- Because everything is made to order, price depends on species, size, base design and finish. A solid hardwood dining table typically starts in the low thousands. Send your rough size and budget for a fixed quote within one business day.
- How long does a made-to-order piece take?
- Most solid timber pieces are completed in around 4–8 weeks depending on species availability and complexity. We'll confirm a timeline with your quote.
- How do I care for solid wood furniture?
- Very little: wipe with a damp cloth, avoid standing water and direct heat, and re-oil high-use surfaces occasionally. We include a care guide, and can add a clear protection film to timber benchtops for extra defence.
- Do you deliver Australia-wide?
- Yes. Bespoke timber pieces are crafted to order and delivered nationally. Local delivery and placement is included in metro areas; regional delivery is quoted per job.
