Protection film was invented to keep stone chips and grit from wrecking the paint on a car doing highway speeds. We fit that same film, made by SunTek, over the surfaces you use every day.
It bonds to the stone until you genuinely cannot tell it's there, then quietly does one job: take the damage so your surface never has to. A scratch that would have scarred the stone lands on the film and fades. And on the rare day the film has finally earned its retirement, we peel it and lay a fresh piece. The stone underneath never changes.

Acid etching
A squeeze of lemon, a splash of wine, the wrong spray cleaner. On marble and honed stone that leaves a dull mark you can't buff out. The film takes the acid so your stone stays exactly as it was.
Scratches and scuffs

Gloss

Satin
A soft, quiet sheen. This is the one most people can't find with their eyes or their fingers, and it sits beautifully over honed stone.

Everything happens in your kitchen with no demolition and nothing torn out. Here's exactly what you'll watch us do.
01
Surface prep
We take the surface right back to clean and dry. Under a clear film the smallest speck of dust or residue would show, so this quiet step is where a flawless result is really won.

Wet apply
The film goes on wet, floated onto a fine mist of water. That lets us slide it into the exact right spot before the adhesive grabs hold.
03
Squeegee the water
Working from the middle outward, we press every drop of water and every bubble to the edge, until the film lies dead flat and disappears into the stone.

Dry the edges
Edges, returns and sink cutouts get warmed and dried so the film locks down hard, with nothing left to lift, peel or catch a fingernail.

Wrap over
We finish by wrapping the film over the edges and returns, so the protection carries around the corner and you can't feel where it begins or ends.
Outside too
The weather is harder on stone than you are.
Sun, salt air, rain and rough hands wear outdoor surfaces down fast. For anything living outside we switch to an exterior grade film that holds up to UV without yellowing, using SunTek's architectural range alongside their protection film.
Alfresco and outdoor kitchens
A stone benchtop or BBQ surround lives outside in full sun, rain and grease. Exterior film shields it from all three so it ages slowly and evenly instead of blotching in a season.
Facades, doors and entries

- What is surface protection film?
- It's a clear, tough film, the same idea used to protect the paint on a car, laid over stone, timber or laminate. It bonds so well you can't see it, and it works as a layer that takes the damage for you. Spills, scratches and acid hit the film instead of your surface, and when it ever wears out we lift it off and lay fresh film without touching the stone underneath.
- Will it really stop my benchtop etching and staining?
- Yes. Marble, limestone and a lot of honed stone etch for good the moment acid touches them, and most kitchens are full of acid: lemon, wine, vinegar, half the cleaners under the sink. The film is sealed and acid resistant, so those liquids just bead up and wipe away. It is the most reliable way there is to keep natural stone looking new.
- Can you see it or feel it?
- No, and that surprises people. The film is thin and optically clear, so your stone keeps its exact colour, depth and finish. Run your hand across a finished top and you won't find the edge. We tuck and trim it into sink cutouts and returns so it simply disappears.
- Does the film come in different finishes?
- It does. Gloss, satin and matte. Most of the time we match your stone exactly so nothing changes, but if you've always wished your glossy benchtop was a soft matte instead, this is a quiet way to get there without replacing a thing.
- Can you protect outdoor surfaces too?
- Yes. Alfresco benchtops, BBQ surrounds, feature stone, doors and shopfront glass all take a beating from sun and weather, so we use exterior grade film built to hold up to UV and rain without yellowing. For shops and signage we also fit anti graffiti film that lifts tags away with the film.
- How long does it last, and can it be replaced?
- Expect many good years on an everyday surface. Because the film is there to be sacrificed, if it ever scuffs or wears we simply peel it and lay a fresh piece, for a fraction of what it costs to repolish or replace stone.

- We only use premium film, and the price includes fitting it in your home. It's priced by the square metre and lands at a small slice of a new stone benchtop, which is four to eight thousand dollars and often more, or a professional repolish.
